About Me

I have over twenty years of experience in orchestral music, working in the areas of operations, production, artistic planning, and executive leadership. My clients include organizations ranging in budget size from $100,000 to over $60 million.

I have worked in a variety of roles at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops since 2006, and there collaborated with a diverse array of artists, composers, and conductors. In that time, the Pops has embarked on successful tours to Florida, China (twice, including for the opening festivities of the 2008 Beijing Olympics), and Taiwan. I supervised or co-produced all the Pops’ commercial recordings on the Orchestra’s Fanfare Cincinnati label, including serving as a producer on GRAMMY-nominated American Originals 1918. Additionally, I spearheaded and produced the Pops’ American Soundscapes social media video series, and when a global pandemic shut down concert activity across the world, I served as executive producer for the Cincinnati Pops’ Live from Music Hall series, allowing the Pops to continue performing for audiences around the world. With new energy in investment behind video presentations, the Pops continues to produce multiple livestream projects each year.

I worked for three years with the Pops’ late founding conductor Erich Kunzel, and upon his passing, I led the search for his successor. My collaborations with the dynamic Cincinnati Pops Conductor John Morris Russell have resulted in new and exciting programming, increased attendance, and critical acclaim. In 2019, actor and conductor Damon Gupton was appointed the Orchestra’s first Principal Guest Conductor.

As the industry has changed, I have also been deeply involved in music licensing issues and have advised dozens of orchestras, artist managers, performers, composers and arrangers on industry standards and best practices for ensuring appropriate licensing. I also serve as the administrator for the Orchestra Music Licensing Association.
